    CEO and President

    NKEM OJI-ALALA Nkem Oji-Alala is a highly accomplished high tech Business Development Consultant specializing in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, and Software Development.

    His professional journey includes significant technical project management roles at major corporations, such as Select Water, Superior Energy, Plains America, Affiliated Computer Services, Reliant Energy, Direct Energy, GE Oil & Gas (as Project Manager for Engineering Operations and Initiatives), and Siemens Energy (Wind Power). He pursued a degree in Business Management with a minor in Organizational Leadership at UT-Dallas.

    Mr. Oji-Alala is a dedicated leader in both the business and community sectors, holding several key positions:

    ·       President, Emergent Business Solutions, LLC: An IT consulting firm focused on providing ERP and business development solutions for commercial companies.

    ·       President and CEO, African Fashion Week Houston: The largest African fashion week in Texas, which produces shows, showcases, and workshops to promote African heritage and culture.

    ·       President, Network of Africans in Diaspora (NOAD): A network for African businessmen with interests in community service, business development, and investment opportunities.

    ·       Board of Director, Houston International Trade Development Council.

    ·       Co-Chair, Hearts of Houston Golf Tournament.

    ·       Executive Director, Information Control Systems in Lagos, Nigeria.

     

    Nkem is deeply passionate about International Trade in Africa, Fashion, and community service. He actively supports several charitable organizations through his work, including the Houston Food Bank, Dress for Success, the Breast Cancer Foundation, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
